Sunday Farm Update: We’ve been scouting out our

Sunday Farm Update:

We’ve been scouting out our dogwoods and willows as we get ready to move into our next season at Blue Sky 🎄.

We just need a few more freezing nights and a little more moisture before we’re ready to start harvesting all those colorful branches for the holiday season. The colder temperatures really help bring out those beautiful, vibrant stem colors!

And here’s a fun (I use “fun” loosely 🤣) fact… did you know we harvest and deliver 12,000–15,000 branches in LESS than 14 days 👀?!?

📩 And a little reminder to our wholesale customers… if you haven’t sent us your order yet, please do so ASAP. We’re getting everything organized for the busy weeks ahead. Thank you!

What is happening with our weather?!? It’s so… well, HOT. I mean, I have to mention the weather. Isn’t that what us Minnesotans do?

Even with these warm temps, this is looking like our last weekend of flowers at the farmstand. I mean, anything is possible at this point, but we’re thinking this might be it for the season 😭😭😭!

A few other things you’ll find at the farmstand this weekend:

💐 Fresh flower bouquets - the prettiest fall flowers.

🎃 Funky pumpkins & gourds – Just a handful left!

🍂 American Bittersweet – A VERY limited amount! And yes, the native American Bittersweet, NOT the invasive Celastrus orbiculatus. Had to clarify that for my fellow plant people.

🍁 Local maple syrup – RESTOCKED!

🥚 Farm fresh eggs – Literally being collected as I type this.

AND… WE HAVE A NEW PRODUCT!!

I’m SUPER excited about this one! Our amazingly talented friend and fellow local business gal, Lindsey, is bringing her Meadow Lane Botanical products to the farmstand!

Lindsey is the founder of Navigate Wellness and created Meadow Lane Botanical as a line of organic, small-batch syrups and extracts. What started as something she made for family and friends using what she grew has turned into something she’s now sharing with others!

Thanks for continuing to support our little farm and the other local businesses we love!

Our last drop of this season @sailersgreenhouse 😭😭

Our last drop of this season @sailersgreenhouse 😭😭😭.

Thank you all for showing up each week and grabbing flowers. We appreciate you 🫶.

We’ll still have a few bouquets available at the Farmstand this weekend and possibly throughout the week, but definitely weather dependent.

Don’t hate us but we’ve been hitting the T Swift on repeat while we’re harvesting 🙈. I mean it’s catchy and all.

This was our dahlia drop today @tcflowerexchange 💖.

“Passenger Princess” or whatever all the cool kids say 🤣.

I’m seriously getting obsessed with dahlias grown from seed. They are all so different and unique in their own special way 😍.
