Rachael Ackerman is the owner of Blue Sky Flower Farm and has been flower farming near the Twin Cities for over 7 years. Her love for flowers and Horticulture didn’t start there, it began many years ago when she was a small child collecting apple seeds and planting them in a sandbox. Since that time, Rachael has worked for over a decade in retail garden centers, for 9 years as an Inside & Outside Sales Representative for a large wholesale nursery and as Horticultural employee for the City of St. Paul. Her formal education is a B.S. from the U of MN – Twin Cities in Horticulture with a Masters Certificate in Therapeutic Horticulture.

Rachael‘s true passion is growing not just flowers but all types of plants, herbs, and vegetables. She loves working with people and exploring what makes them happy, successful and comfortable. Ideal candidates for consulting would be those thinking about starting a flower farm business or those in the early stages, but all types of people and businesses are welcome to sign up.
